My GP kept telling me all of my chronic Lyme symptoms were in my head and dismissed me every time I would bring them up to him. Dr. Afrooz has been my doctor for over 7 years. She is nothing short of amazing, when I relocated to CA the doctors here were stumped ... since it was an Emergency Dr. A replied to me immediately and began treated my complicated Lyme, Mast Cell, severe parasites. She has always made time for me while dealing with multiple emergencies. I saw a review saying Dr A doesn't know about Lyme?!?! ha! I went through 20 years of hell before finding this VERY LLMD! I travel to MD 3 x a year for my appointments, b/c she is THAT good.
Dr. Afrooz is amazing. She is compassionate, caring, and extremely capable. She literally saved my life. She spent the time necessary to understand my health problems when no other doctor would. And, she spent the time to get to know me when no other doctor would. She treats me with dignity and respect, as a human, not a number. I am alive today because of her.
Such an amazing doctor. She is so knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen and understand all of your symptoms. She then puts your symptoms and bloodwork results together to discuss ideas for treatment. She is a brilliant and caring physician.
