Discovered I had spinal cord damage and surgery for multi-level fusion was absolutely necessary and fairly quickly. Originally diagnosed with another doctor and at a different facility but when I cried he suggested another opinion. There was a 2 hour wait between when the nurse saw me at the spine center and when the doctor saw me. Then a 2 month wait before I could get a follow up.
My experience at Keck was outstanding-- beginning with Dr. Wong and his team-- the most exceptional surgeon for whom anyone could have the good fortune to be treated. Once in the hospital, the doctors, therapists and nurses were of the highest c a liberal headed by an exceptional CEO!
Great hospital
This was my fiance's first time going to The Spine Center for consultation. All the staff were very nice. Blanca Nunez, PT-C was very kind & she listened to everything we had to say. She let us know what other supplies we need to help him from getting injured worst. Dr. Michael Safaee listen to all our concerns, answered all the questions, explained everything so we could understand better what's happening with & how severe my fiance's neck injury was. He will be going back for surgery as soon as he is able.
