I was referred to Dr. Barber by my physical therapist for a longstanding pelvic pain issue. From the first visit, I was struck by his depth of knowledge and the way he approaches care completely different from any acupuncturist I’ve seen before. He’s thoughtful, focused, and truly listens. Thanks to his treatments, I’ve made more progress in just a month than I have in years. I’m incredibly grateful to have found him.
I can't speak to effectiveness of treatment just yet because it's a bit early. I have had complex pelvic pain issues for about 3 years, have seen a multitude of MDs, had extensive imaging done, pain specialists for nerve blocks, tried a variety of meds, some which help a little but with undesirable side effects, pelvic floor physical therapists. Dr. Barber is an excellent acupuncturist who helped relieve my lower back pain and chronic headaches from TMJ. His treatments were effective, professional, and focused on long-term pain relief. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with chronic pain.
