My experience with Dr. Saraga was nothing short of extraordinary. His warm approach, exceptional technical-musical expertise, and his meticulous attention to detail were further exceptional. Having started on this instrument pretty recently I can definitely tell that the tools, progress, and confidence I have gained under his guidance are beyond belief. To fully express my appreciation and to accurately recommend him I would need more words and stars.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Dr. Jonathan Saraga and take a lesson with him. I play the trumpet in South Korea and stayed in New York for a month. Jonathan helped me think about how I can create my own story through music, and he is truly a talented person. I think meeting him again was a really good decision, and I’m very grateful for his kindness and his music.

Jon Saraga is not only an incredible player but an excellent teacher. His ability to diagnose areas in need of improvement as well as creating exercises to build these skills is unmatched. As a trumpet player Jon holds virtuosic technique and has the unique ability to explain the fine motor and muscle movements involved. I'm an over 60 year old come-back trumpet player and I've been working with Jonathan for a few months now. My main focus was to work on jazz improv and he had helped me enormously. He is patient and supportive and meets you where you are as a trumpet player. He selected tunes that enabled me to work on key jazz fundamentals and chord changes and gave me challenging exercises along the way. He has also helped me improve some trumpet playing skills as we go. I highly recommend him for all levels!

I had been playing trumpet for some time before starting with Jonothan, but my lessons with him really improved my sound. he gave great specific pointers that all helped me to produce a better sound each time i played. he also helped me understand notes’s relationship, and to be able to hear it in music 🙌 overall fun and effective lessons
