Dr Housner, contrary to some reviews, was very empathic, friendly and professional. He took the time to listen and explain the procedure. Would highly recommend.
I was referred to Dr. Housner for swelling in my right calf by my primary care physician who also within the University of Michigan Healthcare System. After a sonogram, Dr. Housner diagnosed that the swelling was the result of a muscle tear and resulting hematoma. His advice was to be patient and that within time the swelling would subside. Unfortunately it did not and only grew larger. Arguably not very good at offer suggestions or solutions. When I told him about my experience he really couldn't give me any insight to what was going on. Don't pay for a professional who can't give professional insight to your problem. I can say this with confidence, as the previous reviewer mentioned, Dr. Housner doesn't care about his patients future health. Clearly he has better things to do.
