I have seen many therapists in my life and Dr. Cook is one of the best ones. She just doesn't listen to me talk, but also helps put an actionable plan together for improvement. I have never once felt judged or talked down to when with her.
Never in my life have I felt so judged. Therapy is supposed to help not break you down even more. I tried out a session with Ms. Cook about two years ago. After my first appointment I was done and had no desire to ever try therapy again because of how condescending and judgmental she was. One of the worst experiences ever!!! Not at all how a therapist should treat clients.
