I first went to see Dr. Apakama for a gallbladder removal consultation and he seemed very sincere and understanding. It really did feel like he cared about my well-being. My surgery was supposed to be on Christmas Eve (which was ASAP due to severe pain and infection). However, after the appointment he was unable to call in my RXs for 3 days. Dr. Apakama is an AMAZING doctor, there are no other words I could use to describe his ethics because he is absolutely an amazing bariatric surgeon. From the moment you walk in he gets to know you for who YOU are. He doesn't sugar coat ANYTHING he tells you how it is going to be, but he is BY YOUR SIDE the WHOLE TIME and it's a wonderful feeling!!! His staff is amazing, I've never had anyone put forth so much effort towards me and actually believe in helping me but dr. Apakama does!!!
