I love this shop. I've been tattooed twice while in town. I wouldn't hesitate to work with any artist that works there. Very cool and welcoming shop.
Came in on a whim after being told another shop couldn’t accommodate us. Immediately loved the vibes. Alyssa, the manager, was super friendly and chill. It’s clear she keeps things running like a well oiled machine. I worked with Henry and my husband with Jon for our pieces. Blown away by Henry’s recommendations, creativity, and shrimp themed karaoke. One of the best tattoo experiences we’ve had.
Word up, NOLA ink hunters, drop what you’re doing and hit up Henry at Downtown Tattoos on Frenchmen Street if you want art that bites back. The shop’s got an eclectic edge and a zero-bullshit atmosphere. Clean as hell, and the crew is pro without the pretentious vibe. And the tattoos? Elite. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I just got my 4th tattoo from Downtown, and I can honestly say, they are the most professional, friendly, communicative, and truly honest tattoo shop in the city. Henry gave me a beautiful piece on my hand, and offered numerous options beforehand to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. This is one of the best shops in the country, and I'm proud to have them in our city.
