I do not recommend this kennel. The Downeast Boarding Kennel lost my two dogs that were left in their care in April of 2019. My family and I flew home early from our vacation to try to find our golden retriever and golden doodle. They were running in the woods and on busy roads in Ellsworth, Lamoine and Trenton for 5 days before they both were rescued. This was a horrific ordeal for the dogs and my family.
Our rescue dog, Brin, loves going to the doggie spa at the Downeast Boarding Kennel.
