This is the most extremely unprofessional accounting firm I have ever dealt with. If you’re a senior citizen and you’re not like a big Business that would bring a lot of money they don’t care about it at all. I was charged expensive fees for hardly any work done at all and there is no support. They will not return phone calls, emails, etc. You are out of luck if you get a letter from IRS regarding the tax forms that they filed. They will not support you. I would discourage anyone from using this Business to do anything.

I have used Dower & Associates for a few years, but my experience this year (2026) has been terrible. As a result, I do NOT recommend their services. I have had to call their office repeatedly for follow-ups, yet they never return voicemails or call back as their receptionist promises. A single 1099 held up my tax return, and I only learned about it when I called. I also had to call to request my bill, which prevented my return from being filed on time. I had an in person meeting with this group on February 5th, and we agreed they would handle my tax preparation. Since that initial meeting, I have received zero communication. I have reached out for an update but have received no response. It is very disappointing to be ignored during such a time-sensitive season. I would not recommend their services if you are looking for reliability.
