We recently bought one of John’s custom lamps and love it! He invited us to his shop to pick out the right wood for it and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. John was kind, thoughtful and did a wonderful job.
John and Dovetail were perfect for my custom refurbishment project of a coffee table. I had a beautiful piece of wood from Asia, but it needed to be redone entirely with bowties, as it was splitting, and a new base. He did it perfectly! Really couldn't be happier!
I worked with John previously on a custom piece for one of my clients and he did an outstanding job. Recently, I was able to collaborate with him on something for my personal home and was equally pleased with the outcome. Not only is his work absolutely stunning but the quality you receive from him is top notch. John takes the time to communicate and sketch out drawings so you have a clear visual of what to expect. I can’t recommend him and his team enough!

Dovetail designed and executed a vanity for our bathroom remodel. They did an amazing job creating a timeless, modern vanity in the wood and design I was looking for. John sketched out several options for me and we were able to collaborate on the design. He installed it and came back when my knobs arrived to install those too. Highly recommend and can’t wait to hire them for more work!
