do not do business with dover federal credit union. They are a bunch of thieves liars and are dishonest. They will steal your money and lie to you. I had an auto dealer send them a car payoff since I was trading in the car. I was told by several dover fed employees that I was owed $600, and that a check would be mailed out to me within 5 days. Dover fed then claimed that the dealer payoff check to them was one day late therefore they were charging me a late fee of $600 so I wouldn't be getting and money back. I spoke to seve... read more
DFCU processes overdraft fees instantly even with a paycheck pending. I've paid over 150 dollars in overdrafts just the last 2 months. This bank used to be a little more lenient with the occasional overdraft but now there's literally nothing they offer to protect you from them. I'm moving all funds and business elsewhere and I do not recommend DFCU to anyone else. Business or otherwise.
I only been with them for 2 months and I am getting ready to close my account with them, they are terrible, I am a state employee , and I was referred to them by my job, as a state, and so far they have already made me pay $60 in over draft fees. They are not like other banks where you have until 11:59pm the same day to make a deposit , they charge you $30 right then and there, and they submitted a loan request without my approval and send me a denial letter when I never applied for a loan, I will be there tomorrow to take a... read more
