In my opinion, he is not an honest man. I would not want him to be my lawyer. Doug Otto was my client in NY. We achieved a great result for him, and, at his request, sent him the full settlement check without taking our fees out first. Although he never had any complaint, he refused to pay those fees as agreed, and then he ghosted us when we repeatedly contacted him to inquire about it.
