The Douglas Ellington is simply magical. When you step onto the property, it feels like you're entering a fairy glen. The sound of the stream trickling through the property with the breeze rustling the leaves, the dappled light highlighting the old stone masonry of the home, and the history of the house itself makes the Douglas Ellington truly unlike any other venue in Asheville. This venue is absolutely enchanting! Our wedding day was a dream come true, of course the venue itself is breathtaking but Leslie and Lauren are absolutely wonderful as well! We had the most perfect, stress free day filled with so much love and charm. Can’t recommend this place enough and the people who run it!

Such an incredible place! We had our wedding at Douglas Ellington House and it was more beautiful then we could have imagined. The property is stunning and the house itself is beautifully preserved. Lauren was wonderful throughout the whole process and did everything possible to ensure we had a special day.
Happened upon this looking at maps and figured we'd drive by. Even if there hadn't been anyone there, the exterior and grounds are just fantastic and felt like visting a fairytale. Loved this little extra adventure !!
