Why this county charges more for property taxes than any other county in GA I’ve lived in or looked at living in I have no idea as we aren’t in Atlanta as we are not within the 285 perimeter so why charge city prices when we aren’t in the city?
Last time I came up here the clerk was super friendly and helpful. The 3 stars is for today. I just called today around 3:10pm to ask about the tax exemption and some rude, unprofessional "traditional" woman with a heavy southern drawl, who lacks home training answered the phone as if she hate her job. Coughs in my ear and went brain dead on phone etiquette. One question made her feel like she couldn't take it anymore . Every year, we all have to pay taxes. Over the years, the process has become easy. Pass emissions, have up to date car insurance andana invoice from the county. Pay the invoice and receive your annual tag decal. Easy as Sunday morning.
I had to take care of a couple of items. Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. Thank you
