Unbelievable. Since JP lifted its mask requirement and left it to the individual businesses, Dorignac’s has not required masks to enter and shop, as well as for employees. But today’s stupidity beats all. I brought a reusable bag for my groceries, found a cashier and bagger both wearing masks, and checked out. I was shocked when the cashier told me that they aren’t allowed to put items in bags brought from home because of COVID. And where do they think the people without masks come from??? As I began, Unbelievable!
Large booze selection, decent prices on groceries
I grew up going to Dorignac's with my grandmother and it was a GREAT store! The focus now is only on money and NOT on customer service. Very sad!
It's the only place I can get a pork roast with the bones in it.

Beautiful Store Dorignac's is very clean and attractive. A bit pricy though. I just moved back to NOLA after 4 years in Sumter SC. I am probably suffering from sticker shock after spending 4 years in a very inexpensive place to live.
Best place in town for liquor, wine, and gourmet food (especially Italian and fresh baked French Bread) but no health & beauty aisle and very limited cleaning supplies.
