I normally love this winery, the samples are free and great gift shop! However, the last 2 times I was here, the girl doing the wine samples was extremely rude and didn’t offer to help us. We got the evil eye and after the 2nd time of this we had one sample and left. Very disappointing. Will not recommend or be back unless she isn’t working :(

Overall, Door Peninsula Winery was a good stop, but it wasn't quite the winery we were looking for. There is almost no end to the variety of wines you can get here; they have many styles and flavors of wines, ciders, and even meads! They offer a free tasting which is great as most wineries charge a small fee. The storefront is pretty big with a bunch of other things available. The wine is good. I guess. I had a stroke some years ago so I talk a little funny and I've noticed that every winery I visit, whoever is serving the tasting gives me so little to taste that I.... can't actually taste it. My wife gets noticeably more with her samples. So does literally everyone else. It's like they think I'm a mentally challenged person or too much brain damage and they don't want to give me any alcohol but that's not their decision to make. We stop here every time we visit Door County for any reason, excellent/clean establishment, awesome product selection, and friendly/helpful staff!
