Four years ago, due to covid, I COMPLETELY lost my ability to smell and taste. I’ll describe how that impacted me, so you can appreciate the outcome of my acupuncture treatments. I’m terrified of needles (unfortunately some really bad experiences with blood draws, and even though it’s been years, I still get anxious just thinking about shots, blood draws, ivs, etc). Alex did an amazing job helping me know what to expect, calming my nerves, and being mindful of my hypersensitivity/anxiety surrounding needles.
