Sent my 9.9 up for impeller repair since I could not figure it out. When I left, we had the agreement that he would call, but only the impeller was to be repaired, quoted $75. I left happy with that! After a few weeks of not hearing anything I called to see what was up. "Motors done! we tried to call you. We flushed the fuel lines, tuned the carb, changed spark plug, and some other things. Avoid at all cost, you'll just be throwing away your time and $$$. Got ripped off $375 August 2018 brake trailer work was to be done no brake shoe and pad on one axle.
Would rather go to the junkyard and try for parts. Not friendly service.
When I called to ask about service the gentleman told me to have my husband call when he had the time. My husband doesn't have the time, that was why I was calling. That's okay we can look elsewhere.
