A few months ago I took a leap of faith. I loved my current job, but it required me to spend a lot of time away from my daughter and home. I had been there close to 10 years, & I loved it but really needed to be home. My family couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place for our father! The tour and his Day 1 were fantastic! When he was assessed, Dominion placed him in assisted living. Sadly, after only 4 days, we were told he had to leave or we’d have to provide a 1-on-1 caregiver at approximately $800/day in order for him to remain. The $10k loss hurt, for us, that is. Dominion Senior Living is a beautiful community. But what makes it special are the people who work there. They care deeply for their residents and it shows. They truly live up to their mission to Honor God through service to seniors. I can’t imagine a better community for your loved one to call home.
Our Dad has been there 3 yrs. Our family would never consider moving him from Dominion. The Director Jackie Smith and her staff are total professionals whom we have great respect for and appreciate the work they do! Folks we had conversations with many members of the healthcare community about seniors care and what that means to our mother at the time a now our father after our mom’s passing.
