Their employees are scattered around the nation. A normal 14 days loan process will be stretched to 30 days between never-met employees. They are super inefficient. In my case, my rate has increased three times because of the lengthy process. They do not lock rate. They also decreased my loan amount three times. We closed finally a thursday at 2PM. That day at 11AM, a critical document was requested from me by the originator. If you want a more predictable lender, this is not one. I am OK since I am not in a rush.
Let me preface this review by saying that I have been doing everything possible to rectify this issue directly with Dominion for almost an entire year. At this point, I am at the end of my rope and the best I can do is warn against doing business with Dominion Financial Services. I've asked multiple times to be removed from their marketing list but alas. I wouldn't do business with a company that has no respect for their prospects.
