These people are scammers!! Every morning I call for my cab to work and I always pay $40, which is reasonable to me but between the drivers and the Dispatch they like to hike up the prices when people don’t speak Spanish, I am very disappointed I’ve been using Dominicana for years and it seems like every year they’re getting worse and worse! This is why people are trying to Uber or Lyft

$19 for 2.3 miles ( 6 minute car drive) that uber was charging $11, I had to wait 18 minutes for the taxi to arrive I had already booked wit uber due to the wait time, and on top of that the taxi driver was literally guessing while driving I told him to put the address on the gps and he didn’t want to, got late to my destination because he took the wrong turns. ( $15 for the taxi plus $4 service fee total $19 is insane I’ve never heard of such thing they just money hungry, I took an uber to head back and it was $10.58)
