DVSAS helped me immensely over a decade ago to successfully leave an abusive relationship along with my baby. They stayed with me while I utilized a DV scholarship to get through my college education. I will always consider them to be heroes.

They refused me help as a blk sexual assault survivor the staff constantly gaslighting me and abusing me emotionally tried to refuse me service and later ran off when I tried to report what was happening to the police department that I am disabled and refused help as a victim of violence

Some of women exclude male survivors from the world of recovery. Some of them are helpful. It is hard to find a male advocate at times due to limited supply.
