The Hattiesburg location doesn't seem to have an option to leave a review. But I was kicked out today. I tried to kill myself on 2/9 at the Hattiesburg location after a fight with my husband over the phone. After I was released from Pine Grove earlier this morning, I called to let them know. They told me they'd have to call their director Cindy to get permission for me to come back. They called me back and said that due to confidentiality reasons, I wasn't allowed to come back to the shelter. I'm not sure if its because I ca... read more

DAFS is a domestic violence shelter. There’s only two staff who actually cared. The director and some of the workers would be mean to the people with opposite skin colors. Not give children clean clothes or food. There’s no hot water in the facility or air conditioning that works. Then they expect you to feed your dog outside in 100 degree weather. I have them recorded they were going to send my belongings I left accidentally I recorded the main person in charge promising to mail my information but instead just on some creep... read more
