I had a problem with my rental car windshield wiper blades they were worn and Dollar told me to have them replaced and keep the receipt, so I could get my money back. Instead they gave me two customer service certificates from Thrifty car rental. Scam Alert – Dishonest, Unsafe, and Money-Hungry Dollar Rent A Car in New Orleans is hands down one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. They gave me a car with a cracked windshield, which is unsafe and not even legally drivable. When I pointed it out, they tried to blame me and go after my insurance—luckily, I had video proof and plenty of evidence from the pickup.
