HORRIBLE customer service. I reserved a car, went to Atlanta airport Dollar Rental counter. Over 50 people in line. Dollar ran out of cars. Have to wait 4 hours to pick up a car I reserved over a week ago. Plus, the lady at the rental area was very very rude. Will NEVER use Dollar ever again.
I have 2 serious problems with Dollar. First of all, their agents at the Boston airport overcharged me. I told him that I did not want LDW or premium roadside service (I have credit card and AAA to cover these) but he charged me anyway. When I questioned him about it, he said that they have a $700 hold on credit cards and my rental was paid for. Imagine my fury when I got home and reconciled my credit card statement. Way overpriced and no cars so go to avis
Booked my rental two months ago only to be told that there is a seven hour delay on rental, that they had over booked AND I made paid in advance it didn’t matter. I learned my lesson only book with the major brands when it matters.
Was a day late due to flight delays. I had prepaid the whole amount. Not only did they not provide a car they kept the entire 10 days of prepayment.
