Rented an suv at Tampa airport prior to my trip. The vehicle I was given at TPA had a strong cigarette smell that I did not notice until rolling up the windows (which were all down when I got to the car in the parking garage - should have been my first clue) and parking at a beach 45 minutes away. Booked car rental online for $108 at the Spokane Airport. Got to the counter and the pushy sales man said he was upgrading my car due to the weather at $31 per day, an additional $6 per day and slapped down the keys. I went along as I have no experience with car rentals. Pushed me into car insurance by scarying me that my full coverage auto insurance wasn't adequate for the rental, an extra $26 per day. Counter experience was positive, the car was totally fine, but the amount charged for Tolls was beyond excessive! I understand passing along the charges for Tolls but Dollar tacked on so many fees that a $3 toll charge turned into a $30 outstanding bill. Take better care of your customers and I'll rent with you again. At this time I would look elsewhere for a car rental.
