I was VERY disappointed with Dogwood Kennels.....I took my dog to the kennel in the summer of 2013 for one week, as soon as we got back home, I could tell something was wrong with her...I took her to the vet and she had a respiratory infection. I decided (reluctantly) to take her again this summer BACK to Dogwood......MISTAKE! Fine kennel for your pets – We have been taking our dogs to Dogwood for many years now and we can honestly say that they get the best of care. Caregivers do check on them frequently - they know what's going on with your pets. We call them from whereever we travel and they are always ready to answer any question we have. Truly a home away from home for your pets! – We have used this kennel for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. They have always taken very good care of our pets and seem to genuinely love animals. The grounds surrounding the kennels are simply beautiful and meticulously maintained; as are the pet areas and the kennels. Our previous two dogs loved going there and now our two golden retrievers visit there. The staff is always courteous and friendly and our pets are happy, healthy and clean when we pick them up.
