We have lived at Living Branches/Dock Woods for almost 13 years and never have regretted coming here. It is a comfortable community where you can be yourself. My husband likes the relaxed atmosphere and he says he has felt at home ever since we came here. I sense that people are more "other centered" and caring, both residents and staff. Dock Woods is a great place to live. There are so many activities. Lots of exercise activities, card games , seated volleyball and corn hole. Social activities such as Dine Arounds at various restaurants and plenty of special dinners for various holidays.

Great job @ knowing all the different styles of older living, they offer the degree of what your loved one needs. Assisted living, apartment living, cottage living etc..... their tour is very informative and they answer all your questions. We put our mother on their list, they do have a waiting list!

Dock Woods is a wonderful place to live. The place is beautiful, everyone is friendly and we all have lots of fun. I visited someone here over 20 years ago and decided back then when I retire this is where I wanted to be. After checking out several other places, nothing could compare to Dock Woods. I've been here almost 4 years now and know I made the right decision. I feel very safe and secure here and would recommend it to anyone who can use a stress-free retirement.

My parents reside in Dock retirement community. They have a lovely two bedroom apartment in Independent living. They are very comfortable there and truly love the community. They experienced an emergency that temporarily displaced them from their apartment. The management was terrific in assisting them and keeping them housed on campus while their apartment was repaired.
