Had a fantastic meal there last evening in the upstairs dining room. Service was great, food was excellent. It had been 15 plus years since my wife and I had eaten there...it won't be that long between visits this time around.

Love these type of places. Lots of history and they do a wonderful job of making you feel like you are 200 years in the past. Service was pretty good, however the first person we meet (he) quickly said you can sit at that table or the bar. Considering that it was 1:30 and about 6 unoccupied tables, it could have gone better. Other than that everything else was fine, waiter, food, etc.
It was to crowded, my grilled cheese had a skimpy slice of cheese that melted out, tasted like I was just eating toast, wouldn't go back

Pecan pie is awesome. The best I've ever had. Service was excellent. Entrees enough for two people.
