Well....I'd heard from other longtime locals & read the poor reviews on line so my recent instore experience did not dissapoint. I entered the store with my two sons aged 10 & 12 and was promptly ghosted around the store by the female staff member. I then observed a middle aged male (presumably one of the owners) talk with the female staff member. It was at this point I heard her say "They won't buy anything....just another time waster". Terrible customer service, always so grumpy and rude! A lot of signs saying NO this, NO that. Keep walking.. so you can keep smiling.
Just visited DLD Discount store in Bullcock St Caloundra. I have seen many things in my lifetime but what we experienced today after visiting the store, from the store owner was appalling. As we were leaving we were stopped and accused of theft. Yes theft. We proved the purchase was from another store and as you would expect. The matter was resolved. Apparently not. Terrible customer service, with in 5 seconds of being there they were so rude and made it very clear myself and my children weren’t welcome. I’m not the only one by the looks of the poor reviews here. Do better, have some community spirit.
