Resident artist program located northwest of Woodside in a remote section of the Santa Cruz mountains is certainly worth the drive to check out. Docent lead tours take place every Sunday and are available by reservation at the website. The dose that we talk about the history of the place and there's a lot of history going back to the days of the Indians and the dose that will take you on a 3 mi hike to enjoy some of the amazing structures produced by the artist who are in residence for one month.
