Peaceful hike that goes through the redwoods and opens up into the Santa Cruz mountains. This is on an artist residency. The hike has a lot less art than you would think but the views are pretty great.
Resident artist program located northwest of Woodside in a remote section of the Santa Cruz mountains is certainly worth the drive to check out. Docent lead tours take place every Sunday and are available by reservation at the website. The dose that we talk about the history of the place and there's a lot of history going back to the days of the Indians and the dose that will take you on a 3 mi hike to enjoy some of the amazing structures produced by the artist who are in residence for one month.
