Car and Windshield was super dirty the lady explaining the tablet just rushed us out of there and when I returned the car they had a chip on his shoulder will never rent from them again as they are in office in Avis I’m going to rent from a local company next time!!!!
Overall a good experience. We enjoyed the freedom of the tour being able to spend time where we wanted to and being able to stop wherever we wanted. Beautiful sites along the way that the audio tour points out along with some interesting history to go with it. Things to keep in mind we had to stop and start the tour it didn't do it on it's own. Vehicle was clean and we had a great time. I do find it very unfortunate that in the email that I received it said to be at the business at 7:30AM to pick up the vehicle. Arrived at around 7:20 along with 3 other parties. When I went up to the window at 7:30 I was met with rudeness as the worker brushed me off by just putting eight fingers up and refused to open the window. If you don’t open until 8 don’t tell people to be there prior to that.
This is NOT a Jeep Tour. Jeep implies "off-road" but this is all paved Highway - very expensive! You do not need a Jeep! I had hoped to fly my drone along a trail, but it was not conducive with all the other tour buses and cars on the road - no trail. The description is misleading. Rent across the street for significant savings - there is no off road adventuring. On the plus side, it's a beautiful drive with great scenery and some friends in a different vehicle saw some wildlife, but our group did not.
***Notes*** *bathroom stops at Yukon Suspension Bridge and Carcross. *lunch restaurants available in the little town / village of Carcross. No need to only pack snacks from Skagway. *iPad with self guided tour audio, maps, history. I found this entertaining and useful. *DIY Jeep Tour and Avis are rented out of the same facility. *our must sees: -Bridal Veil Falls - Carcross - Yukon Suspension Bridge - Emerald Lake 10/10 experience.
