Two weeks before my taxes were due (on an extension) they came at me with new rates - for that same tax year! At that time I had already been a client for 4 years but they were DIxon Hughes in High Point, and had been assumed by Forvis about 8 months before. When they were Dixon Hughes they had regular staff turnover. I doubt that will change under Forvis. If you are a huge company then they will likely give you solid service. If you are smaller then you’ll probably be lost in the shuffle at the High Point, NC office.
DHG has been handling my personal taxes since the firm was Dixon Odom in the 1990s. The firm has grown quite a bit in that time, now among the largest in the nation. No longer returns my calls/emails. Moving on to a smaller firm.
