Prices are completely out of control, my mom paid over 50% more for 4x4's than at a competitor. EDIT: unfortunately i oiled them before i found out the price. I don't believe these are very appearance grade as some were very rough and had missing edges.
Dixie Lumber is the real deal! The other day I purchased some custom finish molding. When they ordered it, the wrong material was shipped and it cost less than the molding I needed. When I identified the problem, they went ahead and re-order the much more expensive finish molding and did not charge me anymore. The new molding was not only more expensive, but it was also pre-primed. They could’ve easily charged me more for the right product, but said they felt like it was partly their mistake.
