Food was average. Short bartender threw my beer out when I went to the bathroom while our group sat at the bar to eat. Blamed me for not putting a coaster over the top of it versus asking the family member next to me. He was focused more on the two local patrons at the end of the bar than others at the bar.
Our waitress was rude, (head in the clouds or high) forgot the initial serving of bread with the mussels, then wanted to charge more for it, forgot drink orders, gave everyone the wrong credit card at the end, AND an 18% auto gratuity? The food was fair, at best. The service (at least with our waitress) SUCKED. I will NOT recommend, or dine there ever again.
We enjoyed our lunch today. The food was fresh and delicious. The chips are some of the best we have experienced.
Best seafood restaurant in the Fort Myers area. Lay back atmosphere with a great view of the backwater.

Good food and a great atmosphere. Great place to hang out for HH and to drink and be merry. The hogfish is good to, when they have it.
Flew in to visit my dad yesterday and we headed down to have dinner because he has been wanting to try Dixie Fish for awhile. We are so glad we went! We started with calamari that was perfectly seasoned, crispy and not rubbery at all. I am really picky about calamari and it was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp and it was fresh, big and delicious.
