Once you do involve codes they will give the landlord more and more and more time. They give them a deadline and extend it. Then extend it again. If its not fixed they should be penalized. Why keep giving them time if they can't meet the deadline(s)
From my understanding if you want to make a complaint against the living situation at your apartment or house Codes must contact your landlord first. Stating that most landlords will fix it quicker and once we are contacted that is when the "damage or problem" starts. Uh no. My problem started back a month ago now. Now communicating obviously has not worked for a whole month.
