One of my family members manages this home. She puts her all into her career and is very passionate about providing top notch care to vulnerable populations as well as building up her team to do the same. The team at Haslett West strives to make it a true "home" for those who live and are loved here. They do fun activities to promote mental well-being as well.

It wasn't an easy thing choosing an assisted living facility to move my mom to after it was clear she couldn't take care of herself. After visiting a few, we decided on Divine Life and she lived there for 4 years before her passing. Although I still wish I could have taken care of her at home, I was comforted knowing that the staff at Divine life were taking care of her basic needs better than I could have managing her meals, medication, hygiene, laundry, and other daily activities. this place is horrible when it comes to how the employees are treated by managers.. it’s very messy drama wise.. my first day i was told by someone who trained me “you can’t trust anyone here not even rose, she may act like she’s on your team but in reality she’s not” this was my first red flag working here. the reviews under here is Rose doing, the manger. i randomly got a called from the manger telling me she had to let me go the day she got back from her vacation.. and she could not give me a accurate reason to why she ju... read more
