My experience at Divergent exceeded my expectations. After two sessions of deep tissue laser therapy, all elbow pain was gone. After six sessions, where I was taught exercises to strengthen my core and back, the number of migraine days has been reduced to near zero. Their approach to PT is unique and patient-focused. I saw Dr Murphy for long standing hip issues and my teenage son saw him for sports related hamstring issue. While we both had received prior treatment which alleviated the acute symptoms temporarily , we both experienced continuing pain and mobility issues ongoing. I was referred to Dr. Murphy by my chiropractor after I had a pretty bad experience with another Physical Therapist I was seeing at the time. I had two lumbar disc herniations that I was trying to heal for over a year and then had a microdiscectomy to clear the rest of the matter off the nerve. Dr. Murphy worked with my 13 year old daughter who had knee and shoulder pain. He did a great job explaining the whys behind the exercises and how they worked to strengthen her core. I love having all the exercises on video which will stay accessible now that she is done with appointments. Most importantly - she’s strengthened what needs to be strengthened and is no longer in pain when she participates in her athletics. 10/10 recommend Dr. Murphy and Divergent Rehab.
