Avoid this firm at all costs. Madeline C. Bitto is the most inadequate attorney I have ever encountered. She failed to review my case or provide a proper defense, which directly resulted in my loss of school choice, primary placement and decision-making authority for my children. I’d spoken with a handful of family attorneys before having the pleasure of interacting with Madeline, and immediately I knew I was in the right place. The care and professionalism from her and the team at Divergent was above and beyond, and really put me at ease throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Divergent strongly enough. Family matters require the best lawyers, and that’s who they are.

I paid them approximately $5,000 and they didn’t do anything for me. They showed up to two zoom court dates that took about 30 minutes in total. They assigned me an attorney wi was straight out of college, then quit. So then I got assigned another attorney who again appeared to be right out of law school. But I figured she had a great staff around her and that I’d still be in good hand’s, but was I wrong! I spoke to Attorney Joe Kennedy-he was unapologetically rude and unempathetic as I tried to explain my circumstances. He gave a pathetic long sigh before asking me a question relevant to what I was dealing with. As we spoke, I obtained a vibe that he was not genuinely interested in helping me and my family. I do not believe this individual is working in the right profession.
