I really like the customer service along with the honesty and great personalities of the staff. They completed the Job quickly and with a warranty. They are good communicators and are out to save customers money. These days that's great! I will be returning here for service in the future I chatted with another customer who's been going here for years she is very pleased with their service too
I called this morning about my 2000 Jeep Cherokee and was able to get an appointment set up for the afternoon. The guy on the phone was friendly and helpful, it seemed like he was actually glad for my business; that's not always the case these days. The work needing to be done was diagnosed quickly, quoted clearly and fairly, and was done within the day, well before close. Super appreciate this place and will be back if I have other issues to address!
Hands down the best mechanic shop in Lansing! I’ve had work done at Discount Muffler & Brakes twice and they’ve been great every time—honest, professional, reliable, and they do excellent work. It’s hard to find a shop you can truly trust, and I’m so thankful I found them. If you want quality work done right without feeling overcharged or taken advantage of, this is the place to go. I hope they stay around for a long time because I will always keep coming back. Highly recommend—best mechanics in the Lansing area!
What a great experience here. I drove almost two hours away. I came to get help with my daughter’s car. After the professional, respectful, and kind treatment I received, I will 100% be back if there are issues w her vehicle. Hell, I believe in them so much if MY vehicle breaks down I’ll drive it two hours here if I can and have the them care of me. Much respect. Thank you Discount Muffler & Brakes. ✊
I was able to schedule an appointment next day to look at the car and then they ordered a mid-pide and muffler and had me come back the next business day and put them in about an hour and a half. The rates were reasonable and cost is dependent on the model of car since some cost more than others but mine was $480 with parts and labor. It looks great and everything sounds good so I would come back again.
