5 star rating for Ashley and Joe at Discount Muffler in Palatine. We were broken down on the highway in Indiana due to a defective alternator. Ashley worked with her local parts supplier as well as the Indiana supplier to facilitate a no cost parts swap (under warrantee), while Joe talked us through the repair requirements so we knew what to expect from the mobile mechanic doing the roadside repairs. Great ppl
Excellent workmanship at very reasonable prices. I brought my El Camino in for a custom exhaust system. Ashley was so nice. Joe gave me several options so I could choose what best fit my budget. I wanted a specific sound; Joe understood what I wanted and ordered mufflers that matched that sound. The whole thing came out great. Thank you!
Ashley was very rude and not understanding to be working at this establishment and taking advantage of our senior citizens. My mom went in this place to get some work done. They literally charged her $391. To patch up two 4 inch pipes on her muffler, ridiculous Ashley really thought that no one would check their work. This is not discounted this is a ripoff
This place is ridiculous on there prices when it comes muffler repairs.. "Ashley" took advantage of my mother and charged her $391 for 2 4inc repairs on her muffler. If this is what they do for exhaust I would consider going strictly to a "Muffler" shop, They charge as a "mechanic labor charge" For muffler repairs & $125per hour..🤔
