Visited Discount Mobility Aids today and was told it was $45 per week to hire a toilet chair. Sales assistant was very rude and abrupt. Went to an amazing place in Rosamond Road, Maribyrnong that had polite, friendly staff and charged me $11.00 per week.
The lady was extremely rude! I wouldn’t buy anything there on principle, plus the wheelchair I was shown looked cheap & nasty & double the price of the chair I eventually bought at DoAbility in Rosamond Rd Maribyrnong.
I recently had the pleasure of hiring a mobility scooter from Discount mobility aids. Judy was really helpful, she went through the pros and cons of a transport wheelchair to the scooters. I ended up with scooter for a really reasonable price and just as Judy promised it made my holiday with my sister a dream. Excellent hire products, reasonable rates and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Thanks Judy so much.😊
Would strongly advise against buying from this business First of all no rollators made of carbon fibre which is the lightest material in these products The woman there said aluminium much better !!!!! WRONG !!!!!!!!Tried to sell me a three wheel one for $375 Everywhere else sells for $179 !!!!Same brand , Would recommend DoAbility in Ascot Vale Rd Reasonable and honest Company.
