I was skeptical at first about thus place but my fiance and I bought Furniture from Larry and he was extremely nice and sold us a queen bedroom set (mirror, dresser, chest, nightatand, sleigh bed and mattress included!!!) And also complete living room set ( love seat, sofa, with accent pillows two end tables, coffee table, two lamps, and area rug) ALL of this for a EXTREMELY great price! I was fully furnishing a 4bdrm home my husband and I had just gotten and went there and ordered everything in October well in months I had recieved nothing with Thanksgiving gone and the early part of December I got upset and went in to confront Larry who was still giving excuses so I gave him the business and informed him I would have the police all over him. Discount Mattress & Furniture is not a reputable establishment and "Larry", the owner is not an honest businessman. It is my opinion that after speaking with several people about his reputation, the nickname given him "Loser Larry" is very fitting. It took me months to obtain the correct furniture that I orderd and I listened to every excuse in the book, from his mother's demise, vehicle accident, dental appointments, his admitted forgetfulness and several other excuses. This place sucks I was told that I would have a warranty for a year with a washer and dryer I bought and to find out it was on just a 3 month warranty and I had to replace the damn thing once and now I have to do it again. Plus he keep sending me furniture I didn't buy saying to use it until he got what I ordered I refused. Also for some of my stuff I had to wait a month for and I Payed all the money up front. The price on my reclining Serta couch was extremely competitive at $399. It showed up at my apartment thirty minutes after purchase with free delivery (they loaded the couch, but I had to help unload it). The owner, Larry, was friendly and helpful.
