We spent over $20,000 with Discount Floors Inc. We installed very expensive travertine and wood floors. At the time the floor was installed, there were long, continuous cracks in the foundation as you can see from the pictures, running the whole length of the kitchen, the dining room, and down the center of the house. Instead they covered it up with yards of black paper what I now have been informed is called "joint slippage paper." (They are trying to tell me that cracks of this length are normal.)
