When it first opened, I loved going in and scored some deals. Last couple visits didn't go well. I had a 20% off one item coupon, couldn't use it on two different Ryobi tools, told it couldn't be applied to that, even though it didn't say those restrictions that I could find. The tools are factory blemished but the same price as new at home Depot... What's the point.
While you can get good prices on their products, Direct Tools customer service couldn't care less about you. I've literally spent hundreds of dollars on tools through these guys, and when you don't have any problems with your order or the product, it's a decent deal. Woe to you if things don't go well though, cause their corporate office will watch while you drown. Twice I've bought and paid for tools only to be declined for some reason and be refunded my money. WORTHLESS GARBAGE! THE WARRANTIES AREN'T WHAT THEY CLAIM!!!!!!!! It's from manufacturing date, so my 3 year warranty is actually about 1.5 years. The batteries fail often. I have sent one in every single year for repair. This company is a scam! It took me 2+ weeks of working with their support to get an order for a drill press through. THEN they got the price wrong.
