We stopped in DiFebo's as something to do on a rainy day in Delaware. My husband quickly went to the desert counter. He started ordering several selections. He asked me what I would like. I told him I'd just have a bite of whatever it was he was ordering. I am always leery of bakeries that have amazing looking pastries and baked goods. They usually lack flavor. Nice market. Purchased many pastries. Went over to hot area and asked for a sandwich to be toasted. Was told that the sandwich is meant to be eaten cold...yea.
Family vacation in Bethany and had DiFebo's for dinner. We sat outside in the courtyard. Everything was very nice. Ordered calamari, antipasto salad, three pasta (clam sauce, eggplant balls, ravioli) and a steak. Kids had fettucine alfredo (not on menu). Service was really good and it was a great night.
We stayed in Rehoboth this week and I stumbled upon DiFebo’s Market with my son when we in Bethany. I proceeded to go back two more times, despite being 25 minutes away. Over the three visits, we ordered multiple pastries, with each one being better than the next. The cherry almond croissant, the banana stuffed cro-muffins, and the carrot cake were absolute stars!
