I am a resident at this halfway house, and my experience has been very negative. Residents are blocked from participating in religious fellowship activities, and we’re denied access to the law library—because staff don’t want us filing lawsuits against them. The staff and director clearly don’t want residents to succeed. On top of that, staff have told potential employers that residents don’t live here, which keeps us from getting jobs and moving forward. My husband is at a deirsons halfway house. It is a terrible place to be. They treat the resident like,like they are children. They are on a job that they have no training for. I can not find the words to describe the people who work there.its like they are trying to immaculate the inmates there.They've done their time,but the way they are treated,it's like it's ok,they are used to it. The food is bad also.

It’s sad how this place is suppose to be for helping and supporting the people who need the help. They do nothing but set up the people for failure. They will cuss at you, push you, trigger you, and disrespect you. Laughing in your face, taking your meals away, and do nothing but provoke you. The staff doesn’t know how to handle the pressure. Contracted covid-19 due to staff negligence and have seen rude and disrespectful staff quarantined several people until us Marshall's came to get and return them to jail they confiscate shampoo soap money and take home with themselves or give to friends and a man masturbed while administering a urine test can continue but is a cesspool of nasty and rude people
