As they instructed, I filled out their information form, registered on their portal and uploaded my previous tax returns. However, the same person (“Iris”) that sent me those instructions replied to my email with simply: “Unfortunately we are not taking any clients”
D&F did my taxes 2020-21. Their website proclaims “senior services” that I hoped would help me. I left voicemail Monday for D stating I wanted to bring my tax business back and discuss senior service. Late day callback from an assistant, D says $800 for return customers (more than 2x old rate). I asked about senior service and she had no information. Apparently they don’t want me as a client. Tuesday I found a new tax preparer.
