My first visit. I know I was more in awe than my 5 year old grandson. Even though I only needed a small item and had lots of questions Jeff treated me as if I was going to buy half of their inventory. He spent a great deal of time answering my questions and making sure I got what I needed. Old fashioned customer service in a candy store of fun for kids of all ages. Do yourself a favor and drop in , take your kids and grandkids and prepare to see some ear to ear smiles and see some new hobby enthusiasts emerge.
Dibbles was such an amazing experience for my young boys. I have a 13 year old son on the spectrum who is a huge train enthusiast. We stopped in all the way from Wichita Falls with several of his friends and brother. We had all boys 13 and under. The staff was absolutely incredible. We spent so much time there and were never rushed or pushed out like we’ve felt at other hobby shops. Found many cool war games, purchased Napoleon Field Commander last year and was very pleased with this awesome game. Wish they carried more recent games every month, there are so many other good games that I did not find there, like Unconditional Surrender, Apache Leader, or No Retreat. Overall a great store and great people there! I go visit once every few months, love the selection of model tanks (Hobby Town is getting worse on that end!). Love this store, wish there more like it in San Antonio.
The one and only store that stocks and sells Marklin Premium quality HO and Z Scale trains and accessories.
These guys are great! My father had given me a list of things he wanted for Christmas and and I was totally lost. I went to Dibbles and they asked me questions about his preferences and was able to recommend the perfect gifts! They definately know their stuff and will provide exceptional service to their customers. From now on, I am going straight there and not even waste my time at other hobby shops. I highly recommend!!!
Easy to read and eyecatching
If you're a grown up, then it's a neat old time store east of Monticello Park/Jefferson HS but don't take any kids in there unless you want to keep them on a leash.
